BACOLOD City – The municipal hall of Isabela town in southern Negros is under lockdown after several employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Mayor Irene Montilla said the municipal employees are assigned to the Offices of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development while two are from the Department of Education assigned to the Isabela National High School and an employee of the Commission on Election.
Montilla said the lockdown starts today, May 31 until June 2, 2021.
She said municipal employees were directed to work from home.
Meanwhile, other offices such as the Municipal Health Office, Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Office of the General Services, and Office of the Municipal Engineer were advised to continue accepting transactions.
