The highly anticipated 12th edition of world-renowned portrait photojournalist Rupert Jacinto’s gala night, “FAAABVLOUS,” dazzled Manila’s high society at the grand ballroom of the posh Marriott Hotel Manila.
This glittering celebration honored distinguished figures from across the country, with portraits by Jacinto on proud display in the hotel lobby, setting the tone for a night of elegance and philanthropy.
Among the honorees was Iloilo’s celebrated power couple, Dr. Rollin Tabuena, a respected internist and pulmonary specialist and Asia’s Influential Awardee, and Dr. Ma. Daisy Tabuena, a highly esteemed neurologist and Asia’s Golden Icon Awardee. The couple has been recognized not only for their contributions to health and wellness but also for their unwavering dedication to community service.
Adding to the evening’s charm, their son, Dane Marco Tabuena, joined them on the runway, marking a fashionable family moment. All three were dressed in stunning creations by internationally acclaimed Ilonggo designer Nono Palmos.
The black-tie affair, themed “FAAABVLOUS and Fantasy,” transformed into a spectacular runway show, with honorees strutting in their finest ensembles. The event also launched Rupert Jacinto’s latest coffee table book, showcasing this year’s distinguished honorees.
Society luminaries Minnie Osmeña and Ramon Orlina added to the star-studded guest list, lending their presence to an event with a noble cause. Proceeds from the evening benefitted the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines and the restoration of historic chapels in Nueva Ecija.
