On May 31, 2024, DoubleDragon’s CityMall-Calamba Laguna celebrated the opening of the first Jollibee Group Multi-Brand Store, featuring Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Greenwich, and Chowking in a single kitchen.
The innovative format allows customers to mix and match their favorite dishes from all four brands in a combined ordering process, eliminating the need to queue and pay separately at each brand.
“DoubleDragon expects this new and innovative Multi-Brand format of the Jollibee Group to complement and blend well with the provincial community center concept of CityMall,” said DoubleDragon Chairman Edgar Injap Sia II.
“We are looking forward to seeing this format eventually in all CityMalls in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.”
In the second half of 2024, DoubleDragon is set to open its 50th CityMall in Antique, marking a significant milestone that will position DoubleDragon as the third-largest mall developer in the Philippines.
The network of 50 CityMalls, strategically located in provincial areas across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, is expected to achieve optimal market relevance by 2025.
In less than 10 years, DoubleDragon has completed over 1.3 million square meters of diversified assets, including provincial community malls, office buildings in Metro Manila, hotels in the Philippines and overseas, and warehouse complexes nationwide.
DoubleDragon’s expansion into provincial areas, including cities such as Cotabato, Koronadal, Dipolog, and Isulan, stimulates local economies and ensures long-term growth for the company.
DoubleDragon is one of the few Philippine companies operating modern community malls in the countryside, with investments extending to Basilan Sulu in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
The company’s strategic positioning in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is anticipated to achieve optimal market relevance by 2025.
