After months of intensive training sessions in the US with the Atlanta-based “The Skills Factory,” Kai Sotto will be tested when his services were called up by coach Charles Tiu and the Mighty Sports team.

The 17-year old flew to the US after his UAAP Juniors’ MVP season and is planning to pursue his college education while playing basketball at the same time.

With months of intensive and private practice sessions with The Skills Factory, Sotto wasn’t able to join any pocket leagues to focus more on his individual skills including in the US.

Soon as coach Charles Tiu tried to offer Sotto his spot in the Mighty squad, Sotto did not hesitate and grabbed the opportunity since he will not only be testing the fruits of his labor but will also represent the country in Dubai.

The Invitational tournament in Dubai will happen in January 2020 and will feature veteran teams from Southeast Asia.
