Philippine football club Kaya FC-Iloilo will be back on the pitch this May 18, 2022 as they are set to impress in the 2022 AFC Cup.
Fresh off a dominant 2021 Philippines Football League (PFL) Copa Paulino Alcantara championship title, the Iloilo-based football team is looking to grab top spot in the tournament’s Group G.
Together with Kaya FC in Group G are Indonesian powerhouse team Bali United and Malaysia’s Kedah Darul Aman.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian team Kedah, is seeking to earn their stride in the prestigious tournament as the second-placers in the Malaysia Super League.
Before tackling the AFC Cup, Kaya FC is still bound for a preliminary match in the 2022 AFC Champions League.
Co-Filipino club United City FC, on the other hand, already punched their ticket to the AFC Champions League main draw on April 7.
United City was grouped with the champions of Korea, Thailand, and Australia as they are ready to take on Jeonnam, BG Pathum United, and Melbourne City FC.
