Kaya FC-Iloilo is currently on a roll after nipping the talented and stacked Azkals Development Team squad, 1-0, in their 2020 PFL clash.

Just like what we’ve seen in their match against Maharlika Manila FC, Kaya started the match looking to score early and was aggressive in pushing the ball to keep the tempo fast.

After 15 minutes of fast-paced action, the Iloilo based football squad barged into the scoring column off a splendid long-shot goal from forward Kenshiro Daniels.

Daniels found the perfect opportunity off a well-placed pass and sent the ball to the back of the net to give his squad the first lead of the game.

Kaya went on to play a consistent brand of offense as they pressured the youngsters from the Azkals team even further to challenge their defense throughout the match.

In the second half, Kaya looked to add another goal but Ilonggo Jovin Bedic missed the strike and saw the ball fly inches up from the post.

“I’m happy for the three points, this clean sheet, and no injuries since we need all the players fit for the season,” said Kaya head coach Yu Hoshide.
