The Kaya FC-Iloilo women’s booters showed total dominance and flawless display of football after decimating Stallion Laguna FC, 15-0, during the ongoing 2022 Philippine Football Federation (PFF) tournament last November 27, 2022.

After surviving the University of the Philippines (UP) in their last match, the Ilonggas showed no mercy and went firing from all cylinders against Stallion Laguna.

It was striker Shelah Cadag who drew first blood for Kaya FC after finding the back of the net in the 16th minute of the match.

“Hindi yung parang outnumbered sila ite-take advantage sila hindi po. Kailangan pa din namin gawin yung system kung ano yung tine-training naming,” said Cadag.

Six minutes after the Cadag goal, Kaya FC was quick to double their lead courtesy of Hazel Lustan’s conversion.

All hell broke loose in the match as Kaya FC rained the pitch with goals coming from Mae Sullano, Mea Bernal, Nicole Ramores, Irish Navaja, Ryannei Dahildahil, Zhyrelle Belluga, Khryss Dacanay, and Marigen Ariel.

“Hindi namin sila ina-underestimate. Sunod pa din sa plan namin so kung ano yung system na ginagawa yun padin,” added Cadag.

With the 15-point romping against Stallion Laguna, Kaya FC now takes the top spot in the PFF standings with 15 registered points.

Far Eastern University (FEU) had the same amount of points produced by Kaya FC but lacked the number of games the Ilonggas played in the tournament that put them in second place.

Kaya FC will have the chance to solidify its place as the league’s top team when they clash with Azzurri FC on December 3, 2022.
