The Spanish Football League, La Liga, is slowly coming back to normal amid the COVID-19 pandemic after they allowed all clubs to practice with a maximum of 14 members.

After resuming practices last week, the Spanish Football League only allowed 10 players to participate in practice in line with the safety protocol measures by the league and the Spanish government.

After the La Liga management announced and confirmed the 14-member practice sessions, they added that they will be eyeing full blast practice sessions to be allowed by the start of June.

However, Spanish league president Javier Tebas emphasized that they will monitor the progress of COVID-19 cases in the coming days before deciding to allow full practices.

“We’ve gone through some very difficult and complicated moments during this pandemic and we don’t want to jump the gun,” Tebas said.

Players were initially allowed individual training sessions then as the number of patients who tested positive for COVID-19 declined, league officials decided to take baby steps and bring in more players and staff for practices.
