Having been hailed as “PBA’s Ironman” by having the most number of consecutive games played without an unjury, LA Tenorio added another milestone in his career after joining the 1,000 three-pointers squad while also reaching 800 steals.
After notching their fourth straight win this conference against the Blackwater Elite, 101-93, Tenorio chalked up 20 points off five treys, 7 boards, and 5 dimes.
Tenorio joins James Yap, who is the only active player in the 1,000 three-point club and Chris Ross, the only active player in the 800-steal club.
“I’m very honored and very blessed to be part of a group of players who achieved that milestone.I don’t know what to say but I’m thankful for all the blessing and the trust of all the teams I’ve been to when I started playing in the PBA. They are part of the milestones,” Tenorio said.
But of course, even with all the accolades he received, Tenorio said that the ultimate goal for him is still winning this season’s championship and make the Ginebra family happy.
