ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Lawyer Atlas Catalan confirmed that he withdrew as legal counsel of the chief executive officer (CEO) of the 25-Day Double your Money Investment Scheme after the latter failed to fulfill her promise to return the money of her investors last February 20, 2021.
Catalan said that effective February 20, he no longer represents Junelyn Obamos Gregorio.
He said the major reason for his withdrawal was the failure of his client to pay her investors.
“The most important thing here is the credibility of a person by fulfilling what she promised,” he said.
It was learned that the investors went to Gregorio’s house at San Jose Village Brgy. Tiza after she failed to show up at the venue of the supposed pay-out.
To their dismay, she was also not home.
Catalan said that he personally informed Gregorio regarding his withdrawal as legal counsel. He said that she has promised again to return her investors’ money on February 28 and in March 2021.
Earlier, an investor of Gregorio threatened to sue the latter if she fails to return the PHP65-million she invested in January.
