Colegio de San Juan Letran stars Jerrick Balanza, Fran Yu, and Larry Muyang, tagged as the “Big Three” of the Knights during their NCAA Season 95 championship run, will be auctioning their jerseys to help COVID-19 frontliners.
After a Cinderella-story season, the Knights became one of the most popular sports teams in the country after upsetting the heavy-favorites’ San Beda Red Lions.
With their rise in popularity, especially star guard Yu who gave the basketball fanatics one of the most scintillating finals performances, everyone was jumping on the Letran bandwagon.
Interviews here, guest appearances there, the Season 95 Letran roster gained much fanfare, especially Yu and Balanza.
To be auctioned will be Balanza’s jersey during their Season 91 campaign, Muyang on the other hand will be releasing his jersey from their PBA D-League Aspirants Cup stint and Yu will be handing-over his historic Season 95 jersey.
“Let us all continue to help each other. We can overcome this together,” said Letran in the statement they released.
