The Limitless Appmasters made sure there will be no payback for the TNT Tropang Giga as they repeated against them in the finals of the PBA 3×3 Leg 6, 21-18.

Limitless’ victory also put them in the PBA 3×3 history books after becoming the first squad to clinch two titles in two legs in a row.

Facing familiar foes in the grand finals for the second time, the Appmasters knew what to expect against the Tropang Giga.

Jorey Napoles of Limitless continued his scoring barrage after piling up the points in the most crucial stretch of the ball game.

What was once a 13-all score suddenly became 18-13, with the Appmasters grabbing the lead off three straight points from Napoles.

Fil-Am Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser was consistent underneath and became the Appmasters’ anchor on defense each time TNT chose to drive down the lane and fish for fouls.

TNT’s big man Chris Javier tried to keep them within striking distance and finished the ball game with eight points but it wasn’t enough to contain Limitless.

“It’s the players, its’ not me. What I do is to just push them in a direction, but they’re the ones that are doing all the work, they’re the ones who are sweating, putting their bodies on the court. All the credit goes to them,” said Limitless head coach Willy Wilson.
