Lito Adiwang’s highly-anticipated ONE bout and the grand debut of BRAVE CF superstar Stephen Loman will have to face a delay after testing for Covid-19.

ONE Chief Executive Officer Chatri Sityodtong confirmed that both fighters tested positive for COVID-19 and they decided to drop them in the upcoming April 15 event.

Adiwang was scheduled to take on explosive mixed martial artist Jarred Brooks while the debuting Loman is slated to test John Lineker’s chin on ONE on TNT II.

Both fighters were already wrapping up their final preparations for their respective bouts and even trained for three long months but due to the league’s health and safety protocols, both Loman and Adiwang will have no chance to participate in the April 15 event and will have to wait for their next schedule.

Following Adiwang and Loman’s status, co-Team Lakay fighter Eduard Folayang is currently under surveillance as one of the close contacts during the contact tracing.

The legendary Filipino wushu fighter is also bound to grace the ONE ring on April 29 against Japan’s Yoshihiro Akiyama.

If all is well for Folayang, then his scheduled fight against the Japanese legend will most likely push through.
