MADRE MIA, NORMA! – Part 2

OUR Queen of the glam evening, cited as one of the top party hosts by leading international society magazine The Philippine Tatler, Norma Padilla Rosales celebrated her 90th milestone in a party meticulously orchestrated by her children – society’s princesses Beverly “Pangging” Rosales and Joji “Pane” Rosales, Baby Rosales and grandchildren Drs. Nikko and Brean!

The party happened at the plush Royal Garden Hall, which was spruced up to the nines with magnificent chandeliers, Red American Roses that bathed the chic gowns and bling-blings of the guests who enjoyed the magnificently arranged table of Spanish themed cuisines by Iloilo’s topnotch chef Ding Montelibano.

Adding more glam to the event were world class Flamingo dances performed by her daughters Beverly and Joji and their friends.

A breath taking  Spanish dance by internationally acclaimed terpsichorean, Angel Gomez, with Annie Sartorio, and an enchanted ballet performance was a big plus to the dazzling stage.

Dr. Teresa Martirez rendered the fave Kundiman songs of Norma during her heydays in the 60s when she was awarded by Sentrong Pangkultura ng Pilipinas para sa Natatanging Amba sa Radyo Visayas.

Not to be outdone were her grandchildren Dr. Nikko Cid who sang classic songs and Dr. Breann R. Chaplin who performed a scintillating hip hop number.

One high propfile guests said ”Oh My, what an awesome entertainment production, as if I am watching a shows in Las Vegas!”

A live band and DJ scintillated the night with ballroom dances amid endless flowing drinks.

Our birthday Dame in her red Nono Palmos ball gown was the real glitter of the night that kept Our City of Love’s royal circuit buzzing for weeks!

Cheers to that, our dear Tita Norms! Wishing You more happy birthdays ahead!
