Rising Filipino boxer Giemel Magramo will be taking on Japanese star Junto Nakatani for the vacant WBO flyweight title this August 1.

With both fighters known for their firepower, fans anticipate fireworks inside the ring and are not expecting the fight to go the full mile as both fighter will be looking to knockout the other.

Thrice postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Magramo has stayed ready since April 14, the first proposed schedule for their bout.

Liza Elorde, Magramo’s manager, said that their camp is ready for anything adding that they are only doing conditioning drills and finalizing added game plan against the Japanese power-puncher.

After a back-and-forth discussion with the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC), the bout was finally set after Japan allowed boxing’s resumption.

Both fighters are currently on a roll and hold decent momentum after Magramo took down his last seven fights while Nakatani knocked out his last three.

Expect an action-packed title fight between the two.
