A man was arrested for allegedly sexually molesting his friend’s 60-year-old partner.
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Sept 12, 2022 at the complainant’s house in Pototan, Iloilo.
Major Roy Tayona, Porotan police chief, refused to identify the suspect claiming that the case is with the Women and Children’s Protection Desk.
The suspect was arrested at about 8:40 a.m. the following day.
Tayona said the complainant, who works as a masseuse, didn’t immediately report the incident to police authorities.
A few hours after the alleged rape was consummated, the victim’s live-in partner went home and even saw the suspect coming out of their house.
The suspect told his friend that he just had a massage from his wife.
The man learned about the alleged rape incident when he lost his money and believed that the suspect took it because he was the last person inside their house.
The woman later confessed that the suspect allegedly molested her.
The suspect initially availed of her massage service but later poked a knife at her.
She even sustained a laceration on her leg.
He then forced himself onto her.
Police arrested the suspect after the couple told village officials of the incident.
Meanwhile, Tayona said the suspect was insistent that no sexual molestation happened.
