ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 36-year-old man was arrested after an alleged stolen motorcycle was recovered from his possession and control Sunday morning at Sitio Cambuyayao in Brgy. Pawa Panay, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as Gerald Besana of said place.
Police reports indicated that Norwel Nepumuceno and his group were conducting clean up drive along the beach in Brgy. Pawa when they decided to look for a place to wash their hands.
Besana approached and offered them to use his faucet to clean their hands.
While at the house of the Besana, Nepumuceno saw a Kawasaki Bajaj motorcycle that resembled his motor bike that was stolen last March 21, 2021 in front of a chapel in Brgy. X here.
