BACOLOD City – Police have yet to identify a man who was found lifeless in a river in Barangay Taculing here last Friday.
Police Major Leo Estopa, head of Police Station 6, said it was difficult to identify the victim as he was already in an advance state of decomposition.
Estopa said the victim was probably not from the said barangay and was just swept there by the river current.
He was found by some residents floating in the river.
Estopa said the victim had a tattoo with the name “Boyet” on his left chest and a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder.
Nobody has claimed the victim’s remains as of this writing.
