The sixth most wanted person of Oton was arrested Saturday afternoon in Zarraga, Iloilo.
Teddy Camral, 48, of Barangay Poblacion East, Oton, is facing a case for robbery with homicide.
Members of Oton Police Station, together with the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO)-Intelligence Branch and Zarraga Police Station, collared Camral on the strength of warrants of arrest in Criminal Case Nos. 14-73481 and 14-73482.
Judge Loida Diestro-Maputol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 28 in Iloilo City issued the warrants on Feb. 16, 2016.
Captain Robert Jayson Pancha, Oton police chief, said Camral is one of the accused in the robbery and killing of an Indian couple in 2013. The victims’ their bodies were later thrown at sea.
One of Camral’s alleged companions turned against him which led to the filing of the cases.
Camral is now detained.
