A 29-year-old laborer was arrested for allegedly injuring his brother in a bolo attack morning of June 2, 2022 in Carles, Iloilo.
Rodel Buaya is accused of hacking Roger Buaya at Purok 4, Barangay Barosbos, where they are both residents
Rodel, 42, reportedly attacked his brother using a bladed weapon called “panabas.”
Roger was hit on his left arm, he was rushed to Jesus Colmenares District Hospital in Balasan town for treatment.
Reports said the two brothers had a conflict that stemmed from their coconut produce.
Rodel is now detained while charges are being readied against him.
