Fresh off their groundbreaking events in Iloilo, Cloud Nyt—the collective rewriting the rules of Iloilo’s music scene—is set to invade Manila’s top venues (Apotheka, Vibe at Arcovia, Kampai, Salaryman) and the AndFriends Festival this May 30-31, 2025 Founded in 2022 by DJ Loso and Lxnsta, the group will showcase their fusion of eccentric beats and Ilonggo sonic story-telling.
Dubbed “Iloilo’s answer to Manila’s underground scene”, Cloud Nyt has spent two years transforming their hometown into a nocturnal playground for boundary-pushing beats around establishments like Tapas & Toma, BarKade, What’s Up?, and Drink SLS also bridging gaps with other talents based in different regions by bringing Bacolod, Cebu, Manila and Singapore DJs to Iloilo.
Earlier this year during Dinagyang Festival, Founders Lxnsta and Loso opened for Orange Juice Asia (Marco Pedro, Manilajunkie and Shingen) as well as DJ Kiara all the way from Singapore at DSTN’s Secret Bar in the Iloilo City Convention Center.
Their 2025 Manila Tour marks a pivotal moment for regional talent, as they become the first Western Visayas-based collective to play both Manila’s premier clubs and a major international festival lineup.
“We’re not just DJs—we’re building a movement,” says Loso, Cloud Nyt co-founder. “This tour is about proving that creativity thrives outside Manila. Iloilo’s energy is raw, unfiltered, and ready to ignite new stages.”
At AndFriends Festival, Cloud Nyt’s headliners will debut a sound honed at their legendary Dinagyang Festival after-parties. The collective’s Manila club shows will also feature immersive visuals and collaborations with Manila-based allies like WeDontCareUK and UpToNoGood reflecting their ethos of “community over competition.”
CLOUD NYT COLLECTIVE
Cloud Nyt is a collective of talents mainly DJs and MCs – Started in 2022 driven by the hunger of experiencing unorthodox (beyond top 40s pop list) sounds in the night clubs. Known for their DIY ethos, they’ve revitalized the nightlife at GPark by continuously playing and curating events for Tapas and Toma and BarKade. In between Christmas Day and New Years, Lxnsta and Loso decided to curate an exclusive event at a hometown restaurant in Iloilo City, The collective started to pick up the pace when they striked a deal with a local hotel’s rooftop bar – eventually Lxnsta and Loso spearheaded the launch of Tapas and Toma in the Cubix Complex (Now GPark Iloilo) and transformed that place to a Gen Z – Millenial Hotspot for Underground Music.
Every now and then they have been collaborating with artists they meet along their journey, Building relationships and giving more than they receive. The Cloud team has performed in all the Major bars and clubs in Iloilo but what makes them move the needle is their ability to curate events and incorporate plus engage with different communities such as the underground rap scene in Iloilo, the JDM Car community, and Several Universities in the City of Love.
Last year, they partnered with select Drag Queens from bacolod to perform twice a week in Iloilo during Pride Month. Earlier this year, They brought in DJ Kiara from Singapore to experience her first gig in the Philippines at DSTN in Iloilo Convention Center, Brought Siangyoo to Iloilo for a recorded sunset session at Whats Up?, and Brought Hoest to celebrate Tapas and Toma’s 1st Year Anniversary. It was a blast, because all those events were packed.
