Filipino living legend Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be kicking off his intensive training camp in the US in preparations for his blockbuster fight against unified and undefeated welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr.
The only eight-division world champion just left the Philippines after his conditioning camp in General Santos City ended.
With two decades of excellence imprinted in the Wild Card Boxing Gym, Pacquiao will be reuniting with legendary trainer Freddie Roach and work on the game plan against a tough and rolling Spence Jr.
Pacquiao and the rest of his team will be laying out the strategic board as they will be going up against the younger champion who also happens to be a southpaw.
Undefeated in 27 fights, Spence Jr. is considered one of the best pound-for-pound boxers and is currently holding the IBF and WBC welterweight belts.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao, showed he still has enough gas left in his tank after dominating Keith Thurman two years ago for the WBA welterweight belt but was eventually stripped of the title and was declared as a champion in recess as a result of his ring inactivity for two years.
Pacquiao recently said he is feeling good entering the fight but admitted that this is a dangerous fight for him.
However, the Pacman camp is still optimistic that the ring experience and the speed of Pacquiao will be a determining factor in the fight.
