Filipino boxing rising star Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo flew back to the United States last July 1 to train and seek potential fights from September to December.

Ranked by the World Boxing Association (WBA) as one of the fighters with the most potential to win a world title, the hard-hitting featherweight will look to continue his winning ways in his next fight.

The PH slugger holds a record of 20 wins, no loss, and 14 knockouts, one of the most polished records in the featherweight division.

Soon as training camp starts in the US, Magsayo will be under the supervision of legendary coach Freddie Roach and will be kept in shape by veteran strength and conditioning coach Justin Fortune.

“I will give it all during training because I want to experience contending for a world crown. The focus will be on improving my stamina,” said the WBC Asian Boxing Council featherweight title-holder.

Roach had already conducted online training with Magsayo and the pair will now materialize all the plans and strategies they discussed online.

Magsayo said that if a fight will be given to him this September and wins, he will be staying in the US until December to wait and fight again.
