No crisis can stop the Philippines’ next boxing star from achieving his dream of greatness.
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo bravely flew to the US with hopes of inking a fight this September while training under the helm of one of the best boxing coaches in the world, coach Freddie Roach.
Magsayo has been intensely training in the Wild Card gym for already two weeks and hopes to hear some good news in the next months regarding the finalization of his bout.
Manny Pacquaio (MP) Promotions president Sean Gibbons said that Magsayo might clinch a fight this September and all they ask from the brave PH slugger is to stay in shape to be ready at any time.
Since the resumption of boxing competitions in Las Vegas, several Filipinos already had their bouts done including Mike Plania and Reymond Yanong.
Aside from Magsayo who’s still waiting for his final schedule and opponent, PH boxers Reymart Gaballo, John Vincent Moralde, and Mark John Yap already had their slated fights this July and August.
Currently, the pride of Tagbilaran City, Bohol holds an impressive record of 20 wins, 14 coming by way of knockout, and is still undefeated.
