Masquerade night marks Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club Diamond Year

The pioneer International Lions Club in Panay Island, the Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club (ICHLC), recently celebrated its 75th Diamond Charter Anniversary.

Led by Diamond President Shiela Magallon, officers, and members, the grand celebration commenced with a flamboyant masquerade gala ball at the City of Love’s historic Casa Real.

Highlighting the glittering affair was the grand coronation of ICHLC Diamond Queen VP Rose Cadaza, along with her Diamond Royal Princesses Lucy Muralla and Myrna Dadivas Ozcan.

Gracing the royal celebration was Iloilo City Congresswoman Jamjam Baronda and her sister, Iloilo City Vice Mayor Love-Love Baronda. They were joined by former Lions District Governor and former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog and International Lions Club District 301-B1 District Governor Luis Sanagustin.

A Royal Grand Waltz performed by the Royal Court and ICHLC officers added flair to the spectacular event.

The Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club was founded by the late visionary Hector Jalandoni, with Mariano Yogore serving as its first president, on July 19, 1950.

With the Lions International theme “Lead to Serve — Serve to Lead,” the club will continue to serve communities in the years ahead.

Congratulations, and long live the Iloilo City (Host) Lions Club! Roar!
