Our less fortunate brothers and sisters located at Barangay Igtuble, Tubungan, which is the most depressed barangay in the province of Iloilo, were recipients of a free medical and dental attention last June 2, 2019.
The event was made possible thru the medical and dental mission organized and spearheaded by the staff of Stronghold Insurance Iloilo Office led by its Area Manager, Ms. Irene A. Azarraga. They were joined by volunteer doctors, nurses and midwife from the Department of Health, Hospital Management Office, Municipal Health workers, Flexi Care Foundation, Iloilo Motoriders Club Inc. & the Barangay Officials. Residents patiently lined up and waited for their turn to undergo medical check-up. One of the patients was even suspected to be suffering from acute appendicitis who was immediately brought to Guimbal District for proper medical treatment. The Provincial Health Office of Iloilo readily made available their two dental buses for the activity to provide extraction, filling and cleaning of the patients.
Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. will be celebrating its 60th year of service to the insuring public in March, 2020. The medical and dental mission is in line with the Company’s commitment of adhering to the tenets of Corporate Social Responsibility.
