Merged 2024 job fair to offer over 4,000 jobs in Pasay

More than 4,000 job opportunities will be up for grabs as Bossjob, a leading chat-first career platform in Southeast Asia, teams up with the Philippine Dragon Media Network (PDMN) to host the Merged 2024 Job Fair.

The event is scheduled for July 13-14 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

This public-private partnership aims to expand on the success of last year’s 2nd Fil-Chi Job Fair, promising a more substantial and inclusive gathering with over 3,000 job vacancies.

The job fair will feature over 120 companies and key government agencies ready to assist attendees with employment and government documentation needs, including PhilHealth, the Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG. Attendees can also register for a national ID with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) during the event.

“We are dedicated to facilitating not just employment but careers that propel individuals and companies alike toward substantial growth and innovation,” said Kimberly Chen, Bossjob Country Manager. “By offering a diverse range of workshops, panels, and networking opportunities, we provide a fertile ground for both job seekers and employers to find mutual success.”

The job fair will also include a series of workshops to equip attendees with essential job market skills, including resume building, job searching techniques, and mock interviews. A professional career photo booth will be available where participants can get professional photos taken for their applications.

The Merged 2024 Job Fair is part of a broader initiative by Bossjob to create a comprehensive platform for professional engagement in the region. With over 2.9 million registered users in the Philippines, Bossjob aims to expand its user base to over 30 million in Southeast Asia by 2026.

PDMN continues its commitment to fostering unity and opportunity post-COVID-19, expanding its reach to diverse job seekers through its partnership with Bossjob. “This event signifies more than career exploration—it symbolizes a commitment to community empowerment and innovation,” said Peterson Ang, event organizer and editor-in-chief of PDMN.
