THE Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Regional Office 6 has a new leadership.
The turnover ceremony was held last Aug 16, 2019.
MGB-6 formally welcomed Engr. Raul A. Laput as its officer-in-charge (OIC).
Laput took over the regional office in keeping with MGB Special Order 2019-153 signed by Acting MGB Director Atty. Wilfredo Moncano on Aug 14.
Meanwhile, outgoing regional director Roger A. de Dios was reassigned to the MGB Central Office based on MGB Special Order No. 2019-151 “as part of the continuing organizational development of this Office.”
DENR 6 Regional Executive Director Francisco T. Milla turned over the key of responsibility to Laput.
In his acceptance speech, Laput said he sees it a great privilege and responsibility to take on the leadership of MGB-6.
Laput is a mining engineer who was stationed in MGB RO-7 as chief of the Mine Management Division.
De Dios commended the MGB RO-6 personnel for their commitment, efficiency, and excellent work performance. (MGB-DENR)
