The Miami Heat just continued its hot start this February after winning their third game out of four in the ongoing NBA regular season last February 7, 2024.

Miami balled out in front of their home fans and gave the Orlando Magic a demolition exhibition, 121-95, and also halted their three-game winning streak.

The Heat immediately led in the first quarter as the hot-shooting Caleb Martin set the tone for Miami. Tyler Herro then picked up his pace midway through the opening frame to help his squad grab a 26-19 advantage.

Despite Orlando surging back in the second quarter boosted by Paolo Banchero’s efficient offensive showcase, the Heat were able to recover in the final five minutes to equalize the Magic’s point production at 30-all.

Just when Orlando thought they could neutralize Miami’s offense, Terry Rozier stepped up for the Heat and began his scoring barrage midway through the third.

Rozier’s deep offensive bag was on full display against the Magic and became a vital piece to the Heat’s dominant 40-26 run in the third.

Closing things out for Miami was superstar Jimmy Butler who scored eight straight points to kick off the fourth quarter.

After Butler’s scoring frenzy, Miami just took over the game and didn’t allow Orlando to find some groove in the final minutes of the fourth canto.

Butler led the Heat once again after putting up a near triple-double stat-line of 23 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.

Rozier also had his share of the offense and unloaded 18 markers built from a 7/12 shooting from the field alongside seven dimes, six boards, and a steal.

Aside from Butler and Rozier, Herro, Martin, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Bam Adebayo, and Jason Richardson also reached double-digits in scoring.
