The Mighty Sports PH squad was unstoppable in their first four games of the 31st Dubai International Basketball Championship.

Currently on a roll, Mighty Sports recently racked their fourth straight win after trouncing veteran Beirut Sports Club Lebanon, 91-77.

Mikey Williams was a revelation in the game as he went waxing-hot against the Lebanese, firing 6 from downtown with 22 points, 4 boards, and 4 dimes, earning him best player of the game honors.

The streaky shooter who recently had his stint with the MBPL is a consistent pool member of the Mighty Sports team and one of coach Charles Tiu’s admired players.

Tiu stated that he was never surprised that Williams was capable of such an offensive spark for the team, adding that the reason for him being here with the team was just shown through his game.

It was a torching operation every time Williams held the ball as he only missed two of his attempts from three, running around the court using off ball screens to free himself up and immediately rising up for a shot.

Beirut had no answer with Williams’ stellar night as they called it game after subbing out their main gunners with three minutes left in the ball game.

Renaldo Balkman helped Williams in the offensive load with his 20 points, followed by fellow imports Mckenzie Moore and Andray Blatche with 14 and 12 respectively.
