More infra projects in Mambusao inaugurated

MAMBUSAO, Capiz – More and more infrastructure projects were inaugurated and turned over to the people of Mambusao, Capiz recently.

Mayor Leodegario Labao Jr. led the blessing and turnover of a farm-to-market road project worth P4 million afternoon of Feb 27, 2019 in Brgy. Bato-bato here. He also turned over a new barangay hall worth P1.6 million and covered gym worth P1.4 million.

The 800-meter concrete road was part of the P268-million loan acquired by the local government of Mambusao from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) last year, while the budget for the barangay hall was taken from the local fund, Labao said.

On the other hand, the Covered Gym was constructed under the assistance for typhoon Yolanda.

Last February 23, 2019, the local government of Mambusao inaugurated and turned over the P3.9-million farm-to-market road in Brgy. Tumalalud also in Mambusao town. The 700-meter road was part of the loan of the local government.

Labao said that payment for the loan amortization will be taken from the town’s 20 percent Development Fund.

In the same day, the local government inaugurated and turned over the Covered Gym also in Brgy. Tumalalud financed under the program of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Few weeks ago, Labao turned over a farm-to-market road project worth P26 million afternoon of Feb 20, 2019 in Brgy. Burias here.

The 5-kilometer concrete road was part of the P268-million loan acquired by the local government of Mambusao, Labao said.
