MORE Power has announced the full energization of their state-of-the-art 30/36 MVA Mobile Power Transformer stationed at the Molo substation in Iloilo City.
The new equipment utilizes cutting-edge technology and is the first distribution utility in the country to use the PASS M00 technology of ABB (Hitachi Energy).
The project also features a 30 MVA Power Transformer manufactured by ASTOR A.Ş, compact gas-insulated switch gears and relays by Siemens and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), and a state-of-the-art ETOS smart digital tap changer and MSENSE online DGA by Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen.
The energization of this new equipment is a significant milestone for MORE Power and the city’s business community, ushering in a new era of power distribution in Iloilo City.
With the new technology, consumers of MORE Power can expect more efficient and reliable electricity, leading to a more stable power supply and reduced losses from power outages.

MORE Power will soon transfer the load from the old Molo Power Transformer to the mobile substation.
In the next coming months, the city’s distribution utility will start the total rehabilitation and upgrading of the old Molo substation and the said mobile substation will temporarily serve the needed electricity supply of the consumers in the said district.
