BACOLOD City – An estimated total of P111,204 worth of suspected shabu was seized from 18 persons in the anti-drug operations of police here and in Negros Occidental from May 26 to 27, 2021.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) logged the highest seizure with P97,104 worth of suspected shabu, while the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) confiscated an estimated P14,100 of the same contraband.
Ten persons were arrested here while eight others were apprehended in the city in the past two days.
The buy-bust operations here were conducted at Barangays 16, 25, Villamonte, Taculing, Bata, and Handumanan.
These operations were led by personnel of Police Stations 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10.
For the province, the drug bust operations were conducted in the cities of Cadiz and Victorias, and the towns of Ilog, La Castellana, and Don Salvador Benedicto.
