BACOLOD City – Twenty-one persons were arrested with P425,379.20 worth of suspected shabu in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from May 9 to 13.
Of the amount, P196,600 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated here, while P228,779.20 worth of the same contraband were seized in the province.
The biggest drug haul was reported here in Barangay 2 on May 12 which resulted in the apprehension of three individuals and confiscation of P115,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Two others were also arrested by Police Station 10 and the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) in Barangays Taculing and Felisa here.
In the province, 16 individuals were apprehended in the cities of Bago, Escalante, Silay, Sagay, La Carlota, Victorias, and Kabankalan, and the towns of La Castellana, Hinigaran, E.B. Magalona, Pontevedra, Calatrava, and Manapla.
