The topmost wanted person of Badiangan, Iloilo was arrested morning of June 20, 2022 while in hospital confinement in Janiuay town.

Members of Badiangan Municipal Police Station served the arrest warrant against King Mhel Conde, 31, a resident of Barangay Odiongan, Badiangan, Iloilo at the Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital.

Conde is facing a case for violation of Article 294 of the Revised Penal Code (robbery with violence against or intimidation) docketed as Criminal Case No. 21-1046.

Judge Gemalyn Faunillo-Tarol of the Regional Trial Court Branch 76 in Janiuay, Iloilo issued the arrest warrant on June 18, 2021.

The recommended bail bond was P100,000.

Conde is also a respondent to a bench warrant of arrest for qualified attempted robbery under Art. 294 in relation to paragraph 3 of Art. 6 and Art. 295 of the Revised Penal Code docketed as Criminal Case No. 3787.

Judge Steven Prieto Cercado of the 11th Municipal Circuit Trial Court Janiuay-Badiangan issued the arrest warrant on May 17, 2017.

Lieutenant Ma. Rosario Miranda, Badiangan police chief, said the case happened in 2016. The suspect was believed to have fled to Metro Manila.

Last year, Conde reportedly got homesick and planned to return to Iloilo, based on several police surveillance operations.

Miranda said Conde was lately monitored to have been confined in a local hospital for a still undisclosed disease.

He is now on hospital arrest.
