There’s one person who’s still not convinced that Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will be hanging up his gloves.

After his interview in Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube show Toni Talks, boxing’s only eight-division world champion confirmed that he will be retiring from the sport.

“Boxing career ko? Tapos na ang boxing career ko,” Pacquiao answered when Gonzaga asked him regarding his future in boxing.

However, Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions president Sean Gibbons described Pacquiao’s statement as ‘hearsay.’

“It’s coming from him, but it’s hearsay. Until you see it officially come out on his Twitter or Instagram, he isn’t retired. Once you see it on a platform like that, it’s official. Anything else is just talk about what his thoughts are in the moment,” shared Gibbons.

After his loss to Yordenis Ugas, it was rumored that Pacquiao will be staging his last dance inside the boxing ring against Robert Guerrero but it wasn’t confirmed by his camp.

“In the coming weeks, the senator will decide how he’s going to finish his professional boxing career,” Gibbons said.
