MSME frontliners train on business continuity planning

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-6 in partnership with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) is conducting a three-day Training-for-Trainors Course on Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).

This capacity building initiative was organized to enhance the skills of Negosyo Centers Business Counselors, CARP staff, and DTI BCP focal persons in providing technical and expert advice to MSMEs affected by natural and human-induced calamities or pandemic.

During this time of pandemic, most MSMEs have directly experienced disruptions in their supply chain, cash flow, and human resources. To support them, they must be equipped with practical knowledge and skills on how to recover and resilient for anticipated risks.

MSMEs can create their own business continuity plans, secure their operations for any disruptions, enhance their capability to be more `adaptive and lessen their vulnerability to risks.
