Both are pianists who would regularly play instrumental duets in their church services. Little did they know that their regular “gig” would lead to a lovely lifetime partnership.

Just after the couple’s travel to South Korea last November 2018, Rofel John proposed to Dr. Sheena at the romantic Nami Island and finally on a lovely day at Cosmo Iloilo’s legendary Nelly’s Garden, the lovebirds sealed their forever.

The groom, marketing and PR hotshot Rofel John Tupas Parreño, was dashing in his Bo Parcon suit while the bride, Bacolod-based medical doctor Sheena Lenore Gumapac Lastimoso, was also resplendent in her Djohn Clement gown.

They were lovely as they walked down the piano keyboard-inspired aisle.

It was indeed a “dream wedding come true” for the couple after 7 years of being in a relationship. The threat of an afternoon downpour did not dampen the classy and dreamy mood with guests unable to contain their “ooohs” and “ahhhhs” as they witnessed the young couple exchange their vows.

“It was the most elegant yet intimate wedding I’ve attended. I was floored with unbelief for a wedding that started literally on time with good music, overflowing food, and the presence of society’s bigwigs in their best outfits — the recipes for a perfect wedding were all present,” a guest enthused.

Indeed, the marriage started on a right note, dahlings!

Cheers and congratulations and best wishes our dahlings, Rofel John and Dr. Sheena Lastimoso-Parreño!
