Myla Pablo stole the volleyball headlines last January 13, 2023 after completing her departure from the Petro Gazz Angels to the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.
The move also shocked most of the fans after winning a recent championship title with Petro Gazz when they took down the Cignal HD Spikers during the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.
Pablo was one of the most instrumental pieces during Petro Gazz’s championship campaign just a month ago and was vital to their grand finals series when she turned back the hands of time in all of the games.
Everything was then made official after Virtual Playground formally announced that the former national team staple already signed with the Cargo Movers.
“This coming year, papasok ako sa taon na may bagong team and family. My decision to transfer sa F2 was mainly driven dahil gusto ko mag-grow pa sa career,” said Pablo.
The former National University (NU) star became Petro Gazz’s leader after moving from team Pocari Sweat and already won four championships in the professional scene.
Pablo rose to stardom last 2016 and was already regarded as one of the most talented outside spikers of the decade.
Aside from winning four titles, Pablo is also a two-time Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the PVL.
“Super thankful ko sa Petro Gazz for two years na marami akong natutunan and definitely babaunin ko yan sa buong career ko moving forward,” added Pablo.
The reigning PVL champion will be playing in a new system under coach Regine Diego and will team up with former national team members Kim Dy, Majoy Baron, Kim Fajardo, Ara Galang, Aby Maraño, and Ivy Lacsina.
