To give the NBTC-Guimaras coaches a treat in line with the Yuletide season, organizing head Dr. Richard Gabayoyo setup an all-star game between the NBTC coaches and the Iloilo media team.
The fun and exciting game featured those who can still defy father time with their sharp-shooting and array of layups.
The 40-minute game ended with the Iloilo media squad prevailing over the NBTC team, 88-76, held at the Guimaras State University Gym.
The presence and the participation in the game by Guimaras Governor Samuel T. Gumarin and Rogelio T. Artajo, GSU president, was one of the highlights of the all-star event.
Also, the happiness and the spark seen in the faces of both teams drew more fans to watch, seeing the people they look up to play in one game.
“The friendly game between Guimaras NBTC coaches and the Iloilo media team was a successful event. With the presence of all NBTC Guimaras coaches, Gov. Gumarin, and Dr. Artajo, it made me feel prouder as an organizer to do more sports events and activities like this. Special thanks to the Iloilo media team for appreciating the beauty of Guimaras especially in the field of sports,” Dr. Gabayoyo said.
