The regional champions in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) tournament will have to wait until April 2020.

Originally scheduled on March 21-27, 2020, the NBTC finals was then moved to April 20-26, 2020 when they expect the COVID-19 scare to tone down.

“We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our attendees as it is our utmost priority. Hence, we have taken the difficult decision of postponing this year’s event to a later date,” NBTC founder coach Eric Altamirano said.

Featuring 32 teams not only from all over the Philippines but will include foreign teams, the NBTC national league is one of the most-sought tourneys for recruitment and scouting purposes for the different schools in the country.

Aside from the basketball tourney to be held, one of the highlights of the event is The Coaches’ Convention where the greatest basketball tacticians meet in one place to give the best lectures and the basics of coaching to those who want to step up their helm of duties.

NBTC would not be possible without the support from Chooks-To-Go, SMART, Vivo, Darlington, Phoenix Fuels, Epson, Gatorade, Go for Gold, and Molten.
