After President Rodrigo Duterte decided to extend the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) until April 30, the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) organizers announced that they will also postpone their National Finals.

Originally scheduled on March 21-27 and moved to April 20-26 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NBTC organizers have no choice but to postpone their grandest event once again.

No specific date has been announced by NBTC as to when the final date of the league finals will be, said Program Director, coach Eric Altamirano.

Also, not only the NBTC Finals will be postponed, but also the highly-anticipated Coaches Convention, where NBTC invites a pool of respected veteran coaches to give a systematic seminar and impart their expertise to aspiring coaches around the Philippines.

“Chooks-to-Go, NBTC, and SM are still in the process of finalizing the rescheduled date for the National Finals and the Coaches Convention. We assure that the participants and the public’s safety is our utmost priority. We shall inform everyone as soon as possible about the new date for our tournament,” said coach Altamirano.

NBTC is presented to you by SM, Chooks to Go, Darlington Exped, Phoenix, Go For Gold, Smart, Vivo, Molten, ESPN 5, and Cignal.
