BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental now leads Western Visayas in the number of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases.
The Department of Health (DOH)-6’s COVID data on Nov 11, 2020 indicated that Negros Occidental now has 5,053 cases followed by Bacolod City (5,051), Iloilo City (4,173), Iloilo province (2,338), Capiz (939), Aklan (174), Guimaras (191), and Antique (75).
Negros Occidental also has the most number of active cases with 1,621 followed by Iloilo province with 494, Bacolod City (393), Iloilo City (279), Capiz (84), Aklan (22), Guimaras (20), and Antique (7).
Negros Occidental also posted the most number of new cases in the past three days.
As to recoveries, Bacolod City is on top of the list with 4,558 followed by Iloilo City with 3,792, Negros Occidental (3,340), Iloilo province (1,771), Capiz (822), Guimaras (168), Aklan (144), and Antique (67).
Bacolod leads the list in terms of deaths with 150 followed by Iloilo City with 102, Negros Occidental (92), Iloilo province (73), Capiz (33), Aklan (8), Guimaras (3), and Antique (1).
