BACOLOD City – The United Negros Alliance (UNegA) and Love Negros (LN) have yet to decide on their common presidential bet in the 2022 national elections.
Negros Occidental Vice Governor and UNegA president Jeffrey Ferrer said their party has yet to discuss the issue.
Ferrer said they may be able to reach a common stand on the matter before the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy in October 2021,
Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson of Love Negros said they still don’t know as to which direction the party would take and which presidential candidate they would back in the upcoming polls.
Both UNegA and Love Negros are allies but their members are from different national parties such as the PDP-Laban, Nationalist People’s Coalition, Liberal Party, and LAKAS.
As to the provincial election, Ferrer said he will seek re-election and will support incumbent governor Lacson.
