BACOLOD City – A resident of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental topped the December 2023 Physical Therapists Licensure Examination.
Based on the results of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Tuesday, December 5, Ma. Angelica Faye Dela Victoria garnered an 89.70 percent rating in the exam conducted on December 1 and 2.
In a Facebook post, Angelica recalled the words of her sister telling her to never underestimate the power of prayer.
“Due to the uncertainties and anxiety, all I asked for was to at least have an average good enough to pass the boards. But He (Lord) gave me even more than what I prayed for. Pure grace, pure faith,” she said.
Angelica thanked her family, friends, mentors, and those who supported her in her journey.
To my family, thank you for all the sacrifices you made and the unwavering support, she said.
The local government of San Carlos lauded the achievement of Angelica, who is the daughter of Romulo and Carmen Dela Victoria.
She completed her high school education at Julio Ledesma National High School in San Carlos City and graduated Magna Cum Laude at Riverside College here.
In a statement, Riverside College proudly announced the achievement of their senior high school and college alumna.
“You’ve made us all immensely proud as you set the standard for excellence. May your journey continue to inspire, and may your success be a beacon of hope for those with dreams yet to unfold,” the school said.
Angelica also thanked her school for all the knowledge and learnings they’ve shared.
“Thank you for the never-ending support and the random kamusta’s sa messenger,” she said.
“To Gold Rank Review Center, thank you for shaping us to fight until the end,” she added.
A total of 1,288 out of 1,884 examinees passed the PTLE that took place across various testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Pampanga, and Rosales.
