BACOLOD CITY – Negros Occidental Gov. Jose Eugenio Lacson has signed a memorandum of agreement with OfficeGuru.Ph Inc., in partnership with the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center, to enhance youth skills and training.

The agreement was formalized early this week and aims to better equip Negrense youth with the qualifications and competencies needed to succeed in various industries and improve their employment potential.

OfficeGuru.Ph, based in Roxas City, Capiz, is engaged in the Talent Enablement and Development program, which prepares digital workers for employment.

NOLITC is a TESDA-recognized technical-vocational education and training provider offering competency-based programs in information and communication technology and language sectors.

Both parties share a common vision of improving young individuals’ skills and qualifications to enhance their employment opportunities, which serves as the foundation of the agreement.

Under the MOA, OfficeGuru.Ph will design and deliver courses for the Digital Business Training Center.

This includes developing the curriculum, instructional methods, learning materials, and necessary supplies, while also overseeing project management and coordination among partners, students, LGUs, local employers and stakeholders.
