The Negros Occidental volleyball squad is set to make its debut in the upcoming Beach Volleyball Republic On Tour.
Bacolod pride Bianca Lizares is reported to lead the team in the prestigious beach volleyball tournament.
Lizares, a former beach volleyball professional player with stints under the Sta. Lucia and the Creamline franchise, will seek to give Negros its first-ever BVR title.
The Bacolodnon spiker already has multiple trophies under her belt including a second runner-up finish during the 2019 Philippine Superliga (PSL) together with partner Jennifer Cosas and was a part of the top three in the 2018 BVR on Tour Bantayan Island leg.
Partnering alongside Lizares is another seasoned veteran MJ Ebro in the two legs of the BVR bubble on October 21 to 24 and 28 to 31.
Ebro is also no stranger to the beach volleyball scene after gaining a stint with the Cignal HD beach volleyball team and was a product of the University of Santo Tomas volleyball program.
Meanwhile, Negros will also be fielding representatives in the men’s category with Deanne Neil de Pedro and Eljhay Ronquillo leading the way.
