BACOLOD CITY – The 38th Negros Trade Fair opens today, Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

This year’s theme, “Halad” (offering), reflects the spirit of generosity and unity that defines the Negrense community.

According to the Association of Negros Producers, the event’s organizer, the theme highlights a collective commitment to creating a meaningful impact, “one offering at a time.”

Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson emphasized that the trade fair is more than just a commercial event, assuring the public that the 38th Negros Trade Fair will once again showcase the best of Negrense products, talents, and renowned cuisine in Manila.

A total of 95 exhibitors have signed up for the event, which will run from September 17 to 22, 2024, at the Glorietta Activity Center.

The opening ceremony will feature the Arima, a traditional gathering of top provincial government officials, led by Governor Lacson. The ribbon-cutting and booth blessing will take place on September 18, 2024.

Now in its 38th year, the Negros Trade Fair is the longest-running provincial trade fair in the Philippines.
