BACOLOD CITY – The Negros Electric and Power Corp (NEPC) has commenced operations with the immediate establishment of the Negros Power Helplines to seamlessly handle consumer concerns starting Saturday, August 3, 2024.
“This is a key step in our commitment to providing you with even smoother and more efficient service during this period of transition,” NEPC said in its advisory over the weekend.
For the convenience of consumers, Ceneco and Negros Power managements have agreed to utilize the temporary office of Negros Power to facilitate customer transactions.
Negros Power’s office offers a fully air-conditioned Customer Care Center equipped with a digital queuing system, complimentary coffee, and bread.
It is located on the second floor of Robinsons East Center, Burgos St, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Consumers visiting the Ceneco office on Mabini Street will be provided with a complimentary shuttle service to the Negros Power office.
Direct visits to the Negros Power office are encouraged.
Operating hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday, without a noon break.
The following transactions will be accommodated at the Negros Power office: payment of current billings, application for new connections, follow-up on pending applications, customer-related requests and concerns, and requests for reconnections.
Area offices of Ceneco in Bago, Talisay, Silay, and Murcia will still cater to consumers’ concerns from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (no noon break).
Consumers were advised that due to ongoing enhancements of the Ceneco Billing System to ensure better connectivity at the NEPC Office, 2F Robinsons East, payments for current bills only are temporarily accepted.
For payments covering previous balances, consumers should proceed to the Ceneco Mabini Main Office.
Starting August 1, 2024, all field personnel—including Meter Readers, Disconnectors, and Linemen deployed to carry out meter reading and billing services, disconnection, and troubleshooting activities—will be employees of Negros Electric and Power Corporation (NEPC). These personnel will be wearing the official company uniform and ID.
“This transition is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring uninterrupted and efficient service. As we move from Ceneco to NEPC, we ask for your cooperation in allowing NEPC’s dedicated team to conduct necessary activities on your premises,” NEPC stated.
“We appreciate your understanding during this period of transition. Rest assured, our priority is to maintain a seamless service experience for you.”
