James Dolan, the owner of the NBA team New York Knicks, became the first executive sports owner to contract COVID-19 in the US.

Also the executive chairman of the Madison Square Garden Company, the Knicks announced and confirmed their owner’s case yesterday (Sunday, Philippine time).

Despite him being positive, it was reported that Dolan is still continuing to oversee business operations but is undergoing self-isolation under the care of the NYK medical team.

Also, the New York Knicks added that Dolan is experiencing little to no symptoms and is doing great so far.

New York has been the hot spot of the pandemic in the US with the most reported cases of the virus with over 52,000 patients positive and already recording 700 deaths.
